Shift: Day Shift (7:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Salary: $24.50/hour

Responsibilities
Assemble delivery invoices in order of route - first to last - routing system (Roadshow);
Check all stock in staging area to match customer charge sheet;
Loads truck in correct route sequence;
Complete log sheet on return by updating computer;
Before departure performs a safety check of vehicle: airbrakes, fluid levels, and all related safety equipment;
Accomplish maximum number of deliveries in a safe manner, utilizing defensive driving skills;
Get customer signature on manifests as proof of delivery – print, sign and time in and out;
Collect COD when applicable;
Obtain authorization to pick up return product from customer;
Check return goods match quantity and description of return sheet;
Ensure truck cab and box are clean and tidy;
Maintain a clean staging area that is free of returned goods;
Follow and promote health and safety policies and procedures; and
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent;
Valid DZ class driver’s license;
Clean drivers abstract;
Defensive driving course;
Strong communication skills (both oral and written);
Bilingual in French and English;
Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations;
Truck driving experience, preferably with air brake;
Driving experience in similar industry (i.e.: timeframes, size of customer base and daily volume);
License with airbrakes;
Electric walkie preferred;
Valid forklift certificate preferred;
WHMIS and T.G.D. certifications preferred;
Warehouse experience;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Self-directed with the ability to work well with minimal supervision;
Punctual, dependable, and reliable;
